BML compact magnetically encoded sensors were developed for precise positioning and speed detection in very dynamic applications. The particularly flat magnetically encoded disks are now expanding the Balluff portfolio.
The magnetically encoded discs from Balluff are characterized by their precision and quality of magnetization. They work without a reference point, so that the exact position of the drive is known at all times. Even on large diameters, the system works with the greatest accuracy, is extremely space-saving and therefore easy to integrate into extremely compact electric drives and drive axes. For high-volume applications, the absolutely coded pulleys can also be used with off-axis encoder ICs available on the market.
