In calendering machines, which are used in battery production for uniform compaction and thickness control of the anode and cathode material, precise position control of the rollers is essential for consistent product quality. With our BIP inductive position sensors, the position of the hydraulic cylinders that move the rollers can be detected precisely and without contact. These sensors provide continuous feedback to the machine control system so that deviations can be corrected immediately. The high repeat accuracy and freedom from wear ensure a long service life and low maintenance costs. Thanks to their compact design, they can also be easily installed in confined machine spaces.
