In the energy sector, where hydrogen is seen as a promising alternative to fossil fuels, the demand for advanced technological solutions is constantly increasing. To meet these requirements, we have expanded our portfolio of magnetostrictive BTL sensors to include a variant for potentially explosive atmospheres. The new sensor has been specially developed for use in Zone 2 hydraulic cylinders and is designed for operating temperatures of up to 90°C.
Focus on market requirements
Our position measurement sensor is designed for safe operation in hazardous environments and meets all relevant industry standards. It has been developed for demanding applications, impresses with its durability and ensures consistent, reliable performance. In addition, the sensor integrates seamlessly with our wide range of sensor technologies, connection cables, hubs and masters, expanding system possibilities.
With this upgrade, we are responding to the growing demand for high-temperature applications in Zone 2. While previous solutions were limited to 60°C, the new BTL offers robust and reliable performance even under challenging conditions.
