IO-Link hubs - flexible and cost-efficient signal bundling – BNI0046
The BNI IOL-302-S02-Z013 IO-Link hub, order code BNI0046, has an IO-Link 1.1 interface with COM2 transfer at 38.4 kBaud. Its COM 1 connection is an M12x1 male, 4-pin, A-coded connector, while the supply voltage IN connection is a 7/8"-male, 5-pin connector. Eight M12x1 female, 5-pin, A-coded connection slots are provided. The hub has 16 PNP Type 3 digital inputs and 16 PNP digital outputs. Inputs and outputs are configurable, an extension port is provided, and single-channel monitoring is available.
The operating voltage is 18...30.2 VDC. The total current for the sensor supply is 9.0 A, and the total current for the actuator supply is 9.0 A. Switching current is 16x 2 A. Process data comprises 8 bytes IN and 2 bytes OUT, with a minimum process data cycle of 6.2 ms. The die-cast zinc housing is nickel-plated and measures 68 x 32.4 x 181.5 mm. The ambient temperature range is -5...55 °C, and the IP67 rating applies when threaded in.
