General conditions for returns for credit
1. Requirements
The delivery date can be documented and is within the period of 6 weeks.
The return delivery is pre-announced by the customer and approved by Balluff.
The goods are in original packaging and hence in a resalable condition. Shrink wrapped or sealed products have to be in unopened condition.
The goods were purchased from Balluff Ltd.
It is catalog product.
2. Exclusions
The following materials are excluded from return shipment:
Configurable and made-to-order material (KMAT)
Modifications (MOD)
Customized products
Safety products
Adhesive labels, generally products that have a limited shelf life
3. General conditions
Without prior consultation with and approval by Balluff, a return is rejected.
Taking back and returning goods is always subject to reservation and without recognition of legal obligation. The final assessment is at the discretion of Balluff.
4. Costs and expenses
In the event of a wrong delivery or over-delivery caused by Balluff, we will refund 100% of the value of the goods.
For returns for other reasons, goods with a net value of less than £250 will not be eligible for a credit note.
For returns for other reasons with a net value of goods greater than £250, we will, after prior approval of the RMA, refund the value of goods less 35% processing fee for the review and restocking expenses.
Transport and insurance costs are generally reimbursed only for goods under warranty.
Costs and expenses for returns of rejected goods is generally covered by the customer.
In the case of goods that have not been announced or released, Balluff reserves the right to charge for the resulting expenses according to the currently valid service price list.
