IO-Link Wireless becomes international IEC standard
International standardization is driving the worldwide use of the communication solution, guaranteeing customers manufacturer-independent compatibility of all components. As a member of the IO-Link Consortium, Balluff was involved in its development.

Jerko Sprühsysteme GmbH, a manufacturer of special machinery based in Kempen, Germany, relies on smart sensors with SAMS features made by Balluff. Not only do users benefit from these new features, the condition data they capture also helps continuously improve the equipment.
IO-Link: the intelligent networking solution
When Ready Systems from Burlington, Ontario, Canada was looking for a way to simplify their Ethernet network, they turned to their longtime partner Balluff. The solution: the open communication standard IO-Link.
Production in Mexico in ramp-up
Balluff opened its new production facility in Aguascalientes, Mexico, on Oct. 27, 2023. The new smart factory will enable the sensor and automation specialist to achieve its planned growth while creating resilient supply chains. A special feature of the project: The construction project was implemented particularly quickly.
