Application-specific HF readers and antennas from Balluff in an industry-proven design are easy to integrate into your system. They support the globally standardized ISO 15693 standard as well as ISO 14443A in some cases. Thanks to a robust housing that complies with protection class IP67, they are also suitable for use in harsh environments. Their range depends on the combination of reader and tags used.
HF readers with IO-Link interface are also available. They are well suited for applications in which a limited amount of production progress, batch numbers or quality data must be logged in a cost-effective manner.
Our HF readers with integrated processor unit are the intermediaries between tag and PC or control system. Since the antenna, electronics and interface are located in one housing, there is no need for a separate evaluation unit. In addition, the simple integration saves a lot of installation work. Variants with remote electronics are also suitable for tight installation conditions and create scope for installation.
