With the Balluff BRS radar sensor in an M30 housing, Balluff sets new benchmarks in industrial sensing. The sensor uses state-of-the-art 122 GHz radar technology and has been specifically developed for applications that were previously not feasible or only possible with limitations. It is the world’s first radar sensor that combines the benefits of radar technology for near-field radar object detection and precise radar sensor distance measurement.
Thanks to its robust M30 housing with IP69K protection as well as IO-Link and analog interfaces, the M30 radar sensor is perfectly equipped for industrial use.
Flexibility through IO-Link and analog interface
The IO-Link interface enables easy integration into modern control systems, flexible parameterization, and the transmission of diagnostic data. Combined with the analog interface, the M30 radar sensor offers full flexibility: digital communication where possible and analog signals where necessary.
