In cell production, especially when forming and ageing battery cells in high-temperature cabinets, it is essential to reliably detect the presence of pallets. In addition, the storage and retrieval machines must be positioned precisely before loading and unloading of a cell pallet can begin. Our BOS optical sensors offer reliable object detection that is ideally suited for use in cell production intralogistics.

- Reliable object detection regardless of surface, color and material, available with different ranges
- Detection of objects in front of very close backgrounds, even with difficult contrasts such as dark objects in front of a light background
- Almost constant scanning range even with different degrees of reflection for consistent detection results
- Only one electrical unit required without a reflector or separate receiver, which simplifies installation and reduces operating costs
- Available with red light, laser red light, particularly suitable for detecting small parts, alternatively with blue light
