These are your areas of responsibility
Participation in the development of manufacturing concepts for new products in international project teams
Leading and guiding the Industrial Engineering according to Balluff. Leading global Industrial Engineering goals and objectives to support our strategic initiatives
Defining and coordinating guidelines, methods and processes, also across locations
Develop and implement factory capacity modeling structure and supporting tools. Optimisation of manufacturing and process costs for new developments
Support of new developments up to the start of series production
Ensuring the successful transfer to the production sites
Specification and procurement of plant, machinery and equipment
Provide input regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, and capabilities of approved vendor selection
Safeguarding work safety and environmental protection, definition of measures
Coordination of troubleshooting in process/machine related bottleneck situations
Release of documents and instructions for the production, release technical specifications and equipment
Release of manufacturing/assembly and testing concepts and processes incl. materials (generally in the framework Product Implementation Process to Serial Release)
Identify best practices globally and create continuous improvement teams to enhance and standardize to the factory performance
Participation in quality gates and project reviews
We expect commitment, independence, flexibility and motivation. In addition, your profile is complemented by the following expertise:
- Completed studies in production or automation technology, mechatronics, electronics or a comparable field of study
- You have several years of experience in the field of industrial engineering, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing
- Dynamic personality with a high degree of innovation, result orientation and experience in leading teams
- Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively across functional boundaries and with management experience in sensor production and planning as well as knowledge in the field of business administration are desirable
- Ability to build and sustain strong relationships with colleagues during difficult and stressful situations, and able to negotiate and drive solutions
- Very good knowledge of production processes and methods
- Advanced data analytical skills across multiple platforms and environments
- High motivated team player with a passion for entrepreneurial thinking and a good technical understanding, In addition, your working style is convincing due to a high degree of initiative and commitment
- You have the ability to make decisions and resolve conflicts
- Business English, willingness to travel
