Identify tools reliably and maintain them proactively
Industrial RFID system for transparent documentation and efficient maintenance processes
With the UHF data carriers of our BIS U industrial RFID system, the operating times and uses of cutting blades can be recorded and documented directly on the tool. This means that maintenance requirements such as cleaning, replacement or reworking can be detected at an early stage and automatically reported to the machine control system before faults occur. At the same time, regular cleaning cycles can be seamlessly logged. Both RFID handheld readers and permanently installed readers can be used for data collection, offering maximum flexibility.
Features
- Large reading ranges for reliable recording of tool data, even in demanding environments
- Seamless documentation of tool usage to support predictive maintenance strategies
- Full visibility of usage, maintenance and rework to maximize tool efficiency and availability
