Individualized introduction

You have successfully gone through the application process and accepted a position at Balluff? Then we would like to welcome you to the Balluff family. It is particularly important to us that you quickly find your place in the company and feel completely at home. Every new employee receives an individual induction plan from us with a comprehensive training program. In addition, a personal mentor will be on hand at all times to offer advice and support during the induction phase.

Continuing education opportunities

You will have an annual qualification meeting with your manager in which your individual development and training needs will be discussed. Following this, you will receive a training offer from us for your personal and professional development, combined with a stay abroad, if you wish. In addition to technical and IT qualifications and foreign languages, further training opportunities also include topics relating to management skills and personality development. Do you want to continue your education while working? Do you want to catch up on your advanced technical college entrance qualification? Or add a master's degree? Your commitment will be well received by us. Come to us with your plans. If you successfully complete your training, we will support you financially and pay up to 50 percent of the training costs, depending on your final grade. In addition, you will be given paid time off for up to five days for your exams. It is up to you to choose the institution where you would like to complete your continuing education. We will be happy to advise you.

Flexible working time models

Balluff attaches great importance to the balance of personal and professional life. One of the ways we support this is with individualized and flexible work schedules. We also offer special arrangements for parental leave, in the event of specific care requirements or for partial retirement. We also focus on maximum flexibility when it comes to mobile work: With a new company agreement, up to 100 percent of working hours can be performed on a remote basis, in consultation with the manager. Working hours can be flexibly divided between different work locations and times of day, both inside and outside the office. The only basic requirement is that the tasks are suitable for mobile work.

Child care

To make it easier for our employees with children to return to work, we work together with the "Nestling" daycare center. Nestling is the first professional daycare center in Neuhausen that cares for infants and toddlers up to the age of three. From Mondays to Fridays, the doors of Nestling are open to children from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.. In addition to Balluff children, children from the Neuhausen community are also cared for here. Of course, we also subsidize daycare places with up to 150 euros per month at other daycare centers.
