Inductive distance sensors – BAW002H
The BAW M18MI-IAC50B-S04G inductive distance sensor, order code BAW002H, has an M18x1 housing with dimensions of Ø 18 x 65 mm and is designed for flush mounting. Its sensing range is 1...5 mm. The sensor provides an analog current output of 0…20 mA with a falling output characteristic on approach. The –3 dB limit frequency is 500 Hz, while repeat accuracy per BWN is ±8 µm and maximum non-linearity is ±120 µm.
The housing is made of nickel-plated brass, and the sensing surface is made of PBT. Connection is provided via an M12x1 male connector with 3 pins. The operating voltage is 10...30 VDC, and the ambient temperature range is -10...70 °C. The sensor has IP67 rating and carries CE, UKCA and cULus approval/conformity markings; WEEE is also specified.
