Inductive distance sensors – BAW006L
The BAW M12ME-ICC70F-S04G inductive distance sensor, order code BAW006L, has an M12x1 housing with dimensions of Ø 12 x 50 mm and is designed for non-flush installation. Its range is 0.2...7 mm. The sensor provides an analog current output of 4…20 mA with a falling-on-approach output characteristic. The limit frequency at –3 dB is 1000 Hz. Repeat accuracy per BWN is ±7.0 µm, and maximum non-linearity is ±70 µm.
The housing is made of nickel-free coated brass, while the sensing surface consists of LCP. Connection is provided by an M12x1-Male, 3-pin connector. The operating voltage is 16...30 VDC, and the ambient temperature range is -40...80 °C. The sensor has IP68 protection and carries CE, UKCA and cULus approvals, as well as WEEE conformity.
