Capacitive proximity switches for object detection – BCS00M4
The BCS M18B4I3-POC80D-S04K capacitive proximity switch has the order code BCS00M4. It belongs to the M18 series and measures Ø 18 x 88.5 mm. The sensor features an M18x1 thread and is designed for flush mounting. Its connection is a 3-pin M12x1 male connector. The switching output is PNP normally closed (NC), with a switching frequency of 100 Hz. The range is 1...8 mm, and the switching distance is adjustable.
The housing is made of 1.4305 stainless steel, while the sensing surface is made of PBT. The sensor is designed for an ambient temperature range of -25...85 °C and operates with 10...30 VDC. It has an IP67 rating and conforms to CE, UKCA, cULus and WEEE requirements.
