Capacitive level sensors – BCS0133
The BCS Q40BBAA-GPCFHC-EP02 capacitive level sensor, order code BCS0133, belongs to the Q40 series and has dimensions of 40 x 40 x 10 mm. It is installed flush with the container outer wall. The sensor has a 2.00 m PUR cable connection and a programmable switching output with PNP, NPN and push-pull options, as well as NO and NC switching logic. The switching frequency is 10 Hz, while the media-dependent sensitivity is adjustable.
The sensor provides the Smart Level 50 function and features electrically conductive media detection and foam and residue compensation. The housing and sensing surface are made of PBT. Operation is possible at an ambient temperature of -5...85 °C and with an operating voltage of 10...30 VDC. The sensor has an IP67 rating and carries CE, UKCA, cULus and WEEE approval/conformity markings.
