Inductive sensors for hazardous areas – BES02ZY

The BES M30ME1-GNX15B-S04G-EEX inductive sensor, order code BES02ZY, has dimensions of Ø 30 x 50 mm and an M30x1.5 housing for flush mounting. It provides a 15 mm range, a NAMUR interface and a switching frequency of 100 Hz. The housing is made of nickel-free coated brass, while the sensing surface is made of PBT. Connection is provided by a 4-pin M12x1 male connector. The operating voltage is 7.7...9 VDC, and the ambient temperature range is -20...70 °C.

The sensor has IP67 protection and the following Ex categories: ATEX: 1D (EPL Da), 1G (EPL Ga), 2D (EPL Db), 2G (EPL Gb), 3D (EPL Dc) and 3G (EPL Gc). Approval and conformity designations comprise CE, ATEX, IECEx, FM, cCSAus, WEEE, CCC Ex and UKCA.
