Inductive sensors for hazardous areas – BES05MY
The BES M12MG2-GNX40F-S04G-EXC inductive sensor, order code BES05MY, has an M12x1 housing with a diameter of 12 mm and a length of 70 mm. It is designed for non-flush installation and provides a 4 mm range with a NAMUR interface. The housing is made of nickel-plated brass, while the sensing surface is PA. Electrical connection is provided by an M12x1 male, 4-pin connector. The sensor operates with an operating voltage Ub of 7.7...9 VDC.
The ambient temperature range is -20...60 °C, depending on the Ex category. The Ex categories are ATEX: 1D (EPL Da), ATEX: 1G (EPL Ga), ATEX: 2D (EPL Db), ATEX: 2G (EPL Gb), ATEX: 3D (EPL Dc) and ATEX: 3G (EPL Gc). The sensor has IP67 protection and the approvals and conformities CE, UKCA, IECEx, ATEX and WEEE.
