Inductive sensors for hazardous areas – BHS004K

The BES 516-300-S315-S4-N inductive sensor, order code BHS004K, has a stainless-steel M12x1 housing measuring Ø 12 x 56 mm and is designed for flush mounting. It provides a 1.5 mm range, NAMUR interface and a switching frequency of 1000 Hz. The sensing surface is made of POM.

The sensor operates at 7.7...9 VDC and has an ambient temperature range of -25...70 °C. Its maximum pressure rating is 500 bar. Connection is provided by a 4-pin M12x1 male connector. The sensor has IP68 rating and the Ex categories ATEX: 2G (EPL Gb) and ATEX: 3G (EPL Gc). Approvals and conformity include CE, UKCA, CCC Ex, IECEx, ATEX and WEEE.
