The BIC 1B1-IT1A0-M30EI21-SM4A5A, order code BIC0086, is an inductive coupler for contactless energy and signal transmission with IO-Link function and bi-directional signal type. This base component has a transmission distance of 0...5 mm, a rated operating voltage of 24 VDC and a 4-pin M12x1 male connector. Its stainless-steel housing measures Ø 30 x 85 mm. The ambient temperature range is -5...70 °C, and the IP rating is IP67.
The transfer rates are COM2 (38.4 kBaud) and COM3 (230.4 kBaud); the diagnostic channel uses COM2 (38.4 kBaud). The additive cycle time is 0 ms. Process data IN is 0…32 bytes and process data OUT is 0…32 bytes, with 2 bytes for the diagnostic channel IN and 1 byte for the diagnostic channel OUT. SIO mode is not used. Secondary features include Identification, Device Discovery, Operating Hours Counter, Boot Cycle Counter, Extreme Environment Status, Storage Usage Monitoring and Variant Configuration. Condition-monitoring features are vibration monitoring and internal temperature monitoring.
