The BIC 2B1-IT1A0-M30EI21-SM4A5A, order code BIC0087, is an inductive coupler for contactless energy and signal transmission with IO-Link functionality and bi-directional signal transmission. The remote component has an M12x1 female, 5-pin connector. Its transmission distance is 0...5 mm. The output voltage is 24 VDC, with a rated output current of 1.5 A and a maximum output current of 2.2 A. The stainless steel housing measures Ø 30 x 85 mm. The ambient temperature range is -5...70 °C, and the IP rating is IP67.
The transfer rates are COM2 (38.4 kBaud) and COM3 (230.4 kBaud). The additive cycle time is 0 ms, with process data IN from 0…32 bytes and process data OUT from 0…32 bytes. SIO mode is not used. Secondary features include Identification, Device Discovery, Operating Hours Counter, Boot Cycle Counter, Extreme Environment Status, Storage Usage Monitoring and Variant Configuration. Condition-monitoring features comprise Vibration monitoring and Internal temperature monitoring.
