The BNI IOL-803-102-R036 visual signaling device, order code BNI00CZ, operates as an indicator light with an IO-Link 1.1 interface. It uses an operating voltage of 18...30.2 VDC and has an M12x1-Male, 4-pin connection. The device provides up to 6 segments. Predefined colors are Yellow, White, Green, Blue, Red and Orange; additional colors are configurable. The function indicator can be set to Runlight Mode, Level Mode, Segment Mode or Color circle mode.
The additional function supports daisy chaining of 2x devices per IO-Link port. The dimensions are 61.8 x 62.4 x 57.5 mm. The housing consists of transparent PC and PPS, with screws M22 as the mounting part. The ambient temperature range is -5...55 °C, and the IP rating is IP67. Communication uses COM2 at 38.4 kBaud, with a minimum process data cycle of 8.4 ms, 2 bytes of process data IN and 8 bytes of process data OUT.
The SmartLight Indicator offers a modern, highly flexible LED status display for efficient operator guidance right at the point of use. With six individually controllable, bright LED segments and a variety of operating modes, it enables clear, intuitive visualization of processes, statuses, or directions.
Thanks to IOLink, the system can be quickly integrated and conveniently controlled—including an innovative Expansion Mode that allows two indicators to be operated on a single port.
The SmartLight Indicator is also available with an optional integrated Time-of-Flight sensor, which enables precise, color- and surface-independent object detection for pick-to-light applications. In this way, the SmartLight Indicator supports reliable, Industry 4.0-compatible operator guidance with minimal wiring effort.
