Network modules with multiprotocol – BNI00KH
The BNI XG5-508-0B5-R067, order code BNI00KH, is a multiprotocol network module with Profinet, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT and Modbus TCP interfaces. Its IIoT interface comprises REST API and MQTT parsed. Eight M12x1-Female, 5-pin, A-coded connection slots provide the physical ports for the 8x IO-Link auxiliary interfaces and the digital inputs/outputs. The IO-Link ports are Port Class Type A and support IO-Link version 1.1.3. Digital inputs are 16x PNP, Type 3, and digital outputs are 16x PNP; the inputs/outputs are configurable. COM 1 and COM 2 use M12x1-Female, 4-pin, D-coded connections. Supply voltage IN is M12x1-Male, 5-pin, L-coded, and supply voltage OUT is M12x1-Female, 5-pin, L-coded.
The operating voltage is 18...30 VDC, the maximum output current is 4 A, and the current sums are 16 A for US, sensor, and 16 A for UA, actuator. The plastic housing has stainless steel inserts and dimensions of 68 x 38.3 x 226.2 mm. The ambient temperature range is -40...70 °C. The module has IP68 and IP69K ratings, no display, and supports Safety Hub. A grounding strap and M4x6 screw are included; label plates and a port cover are not included.
