The BNI LH5-314-S52-Z071, order code BNI00KL, is an IO-Link hub with an IO-Link 1.1.4 interface and COM3 transfer rate of 230.4 kBaud. It operates at 18...30.2 VDC and has an M12x1 female, 4-pin, A-coded COM 1 connection and an M12x1 male, 5-pin, L-coded supply voltage IN connection. Eight M12x1 female, 5-pin, A-coded connection slots are provided. The hub has 16 PNP/NPN digital inputs, Type 1 and Type 3, and 16 PNP digital outputs. Inputs and outputs are configurable for PNP, but not for NPN. An extension port and single-channel monitoring are available.
The total sensor current is 2 A, the total actuator current is 16 A, and the switching current is 12 × 2 A and 4 × 4 A. The die-cast zinc, nickel-plated housing measures 68 × 31.8 × 181.5 mm. The ambient temperature range is -25...60 °C, with IP67 when threaded in. Process data comprises 12 bytes IN and 2 bytes OUT. Vibration, internal temperature, device discovery, inclination monitoring and installation aid are included.
