Network modules with multiprotocol – BNI00L3
The BNI XG3-508-0B5-R067 network module, order code BNI00L3, supports Profinet, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT and Modbus TCP. Its IIoT interfaces are REST API and parsed MQTT. Eight physical IO-Link ports are provided through M12x1-Female, 5-pin, A-coded connection slots; the IO-Link ports have Port Class Type A and support IO-Link version 1.1.4. The module provides COM 1 and COM 2 as M12x1-Female, 4-pin, D-coded connections. Supply voltage connections are M12x1-Male, 5-pin, L-coded for supply voltage IN and M12x1-Female, 5-pin, L-coded for supply voltage OUT.
The module operates at 18...30 VDC and has a maximum output current of 2 A. It provides 16 PNP Type 3 digital inputs and 16 PNP digital outputs, with configurable inputs/outputs. The sensor current sum is 16 A and the actuator current sum is 16 A. The plastic housing has stainless steel inserts and dimensions of 68 x 38.3 x 226.2 mm. The ambient temperature range is -40...70 °C, with IP68 and IP69K protection ratings. No display is provided. Safety Hub support is available. The scope of delivery includes a grounding strap and M4x6 screw; label plates and port cover are not included.
