Monitor fill levels in storage tanks

For trouble-free production, storage tanks must always be sufficiently filled, but not overflow. This requires precise monitoring even in the presence of foaming, or with poorly accessible storage tanks and hetero­geneous fluids. Pressure sensors, capacitive sensors or a corresponding combination from Balluff are a reliable solution here. For added efficiency, you can connect them to the IT level: The sensors communicate the level to the fieldbus module via their IO-Link interface. The Ethernet TCP/IP protocol is used to access the network master to forward the data.
