Timber Harvester with Crane: Monitoring Park Position of the Chainsaw
With our inductive sensors on the attachment of a timber harvester you can easily verify the park position of the chainsaw. The sensor is attached to the swivel joint on which the chainsaw swings out. This rugged sensor reliably detects whether the chainsaw has fully retracted and if it is safe to enable the tree trunk feed.
Another advantage: These non-contact sensors are insensitive to contamination and are therefore ideal for the harsh environment of logging.
