The low frequency system BIS C (70/455 kHz) is suitable for close range up to 100 mm and for difficult conditions such as metal environments. LF is therefore frequently used in tool identification.

The high-frequency system BIS M (13.56 MHz) enables parts to be tracked at close range up to 400 mm. With BIS M, you can process and store particularly large volumes of data at high transmission speeds.

The ultra high frequency system BIS U (860...960 MHz) typically communicates in a range of 6 m distance. UHF allows the simultaneous reading of several data carriers (multi-tagging).
