IO-Link Basics Workshop

Join us for a free, one-day IO-Link workshop, designed to provide an in-depth introduction to the fundamental functionalities, capabilities, operating principles, and advantages of IO-Link technology.

Structure of the Course

This course is designed as an introduction to the core concepts and practical applications of IO-Link technology. Led by a senior technical trainer from Balluff and supported by on-site sales engineers, the workshop features hands-on training.

Course Content

• Receive a comprehensive overview of IO-Link

• Learn to configure an IO-Link gateway using:

  • Add-on instructions

  • Web UI

  • Balluff Engineering Tool (BET)

• Set up and configure the following devices:

  • A linear transducer (input device)

  • A SmartLight (output device)

  • An expansion hub (input/output device)

Notes

Training is limited to 10 participants per day, so early registration is encouraged. There is no cost to attend. Lunch will be provided.
