To really get the most out of our industrial cameras, we rely on smart features that, for example, optimize camera control, image capture and image quality, or support multi-camera operation.
To this end, both our GigE and USB 3.0 camera families are equipped with an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) - an integrated circuit that allows logical circuits to be developed and executed in the industrial camera. This is nothing new, but it helps us decisively in making industrial cameras smarter.
