Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

Region MX - Aguascalientes

We are looking for you as our Quality Engineer. Are you ready for it? We are! Looking forward to hearing from you.

These are your areas of responsibility

  • Support the start-up/ramp up on the location in Aguascalientes

  • Analysis of customer claims, coordination of corrective actions with an intracompany team

  • Coordinate and perform product and process release activities in case of productions transfers, product and process changes, etc.

  • Monitoring of quality KPI's (e.g. customer PPM, internal loss rate) and defining measures for improvements

  • Prevention and/or elimination of quality disturbances and quality related bottleneck situations during serial production

  • Create and evaluate quality reports regarding customer claims and internal issues (e.g. A3, 8D)

  • Preparation of special releases and production stops/recoveries

  • Dimensional measurements at incoming goods inspection, and management of supplier complaints

  • Perform and support system, process and product audits (internally and externally)

  • ESD-coordination tasks for the local plant

  • Support of the internal calibration process (e.g., coordination of availability of test equipment for calibration, support the department in calibration topics)

  • Calibration of internal Test Equipment (e.g., End of line tester) according to defined calibration instructions.

  • Functional lead of quality inspectors/technicians

We expect commitment, independence, flexibility and motivation. In addition, your profile is complemented by the following expertise:

  • Technical Education/Studies in the field of mechanics, mechatronics, physical engineering or electronics - in each case with experience in quality assurance
  • Intercultural competence and business fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Structured approach to work, proven problem solving and methodological skills with quality methods such as FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa diagram, 5Why, MSA and SPC
  • Practical knowledge APQP, PPAP
  • Experience in a working environment with ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • Assertive communication skills
  • Confident handling of MS Office package (Word, Excel, PP, etc.), and SAP (modules as MM, QM)
  • Customer orientation
  • Basic knowledge about measurement systems and calibration process
